Aloha, Matt and I had a hard week of moving from rainy, warm Haiku up 3,000 ft. to Kula. It is much cooler up here and no moisture. There are so many strange new birds and flowers. Kula is were most of the fruits and veggies are grow on the island. There is a great winding road that intersects our streets. I walked on it for 45 min and it just kept going. I have a plan to buy a bike to try to see were it goes. We can see and hear the cows on the hillside behind our place. At night they make this loud moaning screech. I don't know how to describe it. Our place is a 2 bedroom redwood log cabin. It is raised up over the garage and landlords guest house. Sliders open up to a large Lanai with views of Lanai. We got great sunrises in Haiku but now we get the sunsets. At night our view is of Kihei lit up below. This is only our second day here but we are liking it so far. Jude has plenty room and I have half the basement for my art. I had trouble getting good pictures of the house. I will try to post more later.
